  ZALINGAI CREATIVE TEXTILE RECYCLING

Original, exciting designs for bags, hats, wall hangings, rugs and drum covers made entirely from recycled textiles. Each item is unique and hand crafted by textile artist Sue Clow, bringing together the traditional craft techniques of patchwork, quilting, appliqué and rag rug making, with the wealth of wonderful materials discarded by this society, to make many original products.

    CHRISTOPHER WYN BROWN

Vitreous enamelling is the process of melting and fusing coloured glasses onto a metal object; when used purely
decoratively the metal is normally copper or silver. Evidence of enamelling dates back to 1500 B.C. and in the
British Isles the Celts produced some beautiful items by pouring enamels into cast bronze shapes.

This tradition is continued by Christopher, amongst others, and he will be giving demonstrations over the weekend.

    PEN COED TEXTILES

Pen Coed Textiles is a design studio based in Ceredigion, Wales. The studio was established in 2007 and provides an exciting range of textile designs. Jacqueline Jeynes designs and makes a range of felt and collage wallhangings, individual jackets and hats, plus a range of other felted items. Jacqueline loves to produce colourful designs using pure wool fleece, and runs a range of Workshops at her studio. Our customers particularly value the unique style of abstract surface design, and always enjoy the small-group Workshops where they can learn feltmaking skills and produce an item of their own.
